The temperature is currently 18 degrees. What?
I am wearing a long sleeve shirt and a thick sweater and I have a blanket in my lap. I'm freezing! My office needs to turn the heat on or something. It feels like the air conditioning is on. Brrrrr.
Last night our realtor came over and he was impressed with all the changes we've made. We signed the papers and everything, and by Saturday our house should officially be on the market. Crazy! While he was over, there was a loud knock on the front door, which startled us all. I did not have any clue who it might be. Trevor opened the door and it was ADAM! Adam is one of Trevor's old roommates who was originally from Alaska and had moved back there. We were quite surprised and happy to see him. He moved back! Nick was with him, another one of Trev's old roomies that lives in Fergus, so it was fun to see him too. They had a couple of girls with them. Apparently they had all just gone and picked Adam up at the airport and thought it would be fun to surprise us. So fun! Adam and Nick were also impressed with the house. Adam said, "You've girlified the house and now you're going to leave?" Ha. It used to be quite the bachelor pad...
I worked on my scrapbook of my childhood photos last night and FINISHED it. It feels good to have that book done! Mom is giving me the next album to do when we go there for Easter, but I'll take a break before I start up again.
It's crazy and awesome how clean and uncluttered our house is right now. It's great to wake up to such a clean place. It feels so nice to have everything in order and know where everything is. I think I'll miss all the personal photos I had up, but I can live without them for now. Thinking about moving to a bigger house in a safer neighborhood is really exciting to me...being somewhere where I don't get freaked out going outside at night would be awesome! haha.
It's Karin night tonight. Karin's coming over and we're going through my itunes to pick out some music for her aunt and uncle's wedding, and then we'll probably watch a movie. Trev and Steve (her hubby) will both be at pool leagues.
Still freezing....brrrrrr.....
Trev and I in front of our house. This is when it was just his house and we had just gotten engaged. ;-)
