What was I doing 10 years ago?
Ten years ago right now I was a senior in high school about to graduate in a couple of months. I had a big crush on Jon, who told me at my birthday party that it was reciprocated. My best friends were Katie, Heather, Rachel, Heidi, Hana, Kate. I also was really good friends with Matt then, as well as the long-time friends Chad and Erik. I was pretty happy, but nervous about working in the summer and heading off to college. I was listening to Common Children, Starflyer 59, Bon Voyage, Joy Electric, Skillet, R.E.M., U2. I hung out with friends constantly. I had also just been to Ecuador with a group from Campus Life. I was also preparing for spring concerts- I was in choir, band, and show choir at school. Yike!


Snacks I enjoy:
pita bread/chips and hummus, cheese and crackers, carrots and ranch dip, granola bars, fruit.

Five Things on my To-Do List Today:
1. Finally pack up the china and crystal to put back in storage.
2. Do laundry so we have clothes this weekend.
3. Pack for our trip this weekend to Madison.
4. Edit the blurbs Jeremy wrote for the newsletter (work)
5. Find something to eat for lunch.

Things I would do if I became a billionaire: Travel the world, give to all my missionary friends, add on to our little house. haha.

Three bad habits:
1. I take things too personally.
2. I procrastinate.
3. I take too long to mail stuff.

Things people don’t know about me: I get angry really easily, but usually when no one else is around to witness it. My life is much happier after getting our dog. I had a retainer and/or braces for much of my elementary and teen years. I always get frustrated when I can't do things as perfectly as I wanted to, even if I am doing them for the first time. I played the flute for years. I love singing along to hard rock. I love tea but I hardly drink it. I want to go back to South America again someday.

There's this meme going around on blogs called "Get to know my hubby." Since he left this morning for a business trip and won't be back until Thursday night, and I cried when I said goodbye to him, AND because yesterday was his birthday, I'll tell you a bit about him. ;-)

What is his name? Trevor Michael Tungseth
How long have you been married? 3 years
How long did you date? We dated 6 months before getting engaged, but dated a year total before we were married.
How old is he? 30
How old does he act? 30 :-)
Who said "I love you" first? Officially him, but actually I almost did by accident. I caught myself in the middle, so it came out "I love you-r feet." Haha. That will never die.
Who is taller? He is 6'3" and I'm about 5'5"!
Who eats more sweets? Neither one of us eats very many sweets, but he likes donuts more than I do. Haha.
Who can sing better? I love when he sings, but I'm the one who studied voice in college...
Who is smarter? Trevor is very smart and is always teaching me new things. :-)
Who does the laundry? We both do, but usually me.
Who pays the bills? We both make the money but he pays the bills and does the whole spreadsheet budgeting stuff.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? He does
Who mows the lawn? Trev does. I've never once mowed a lawn- I grew up with 2 brothers.
Who cooks dinner? We both do, but he probably throws stuff together more than I do. I like to cook the bigger meals.
Who drives? We both do, but he does more than I do.
Who is more stubborn? Hm, I think I am.
Who kissed who first? He kissed me.
Who proposed? He proposed. I made him a big dinner at my apartment for our 6 month anniversary, and he brought me roses and then proposed after we ate dinner.
What do you love about him? He is a very positive, happy, encouraging person. He is almost always in a good mood. He sings a lot when we are hanging out at home. He makes me laugh. He is really responsible (he bought our house when he was 24). It is awesome how he takes care of our puppy, the house, the bills, and takes care of me and looks out for my health (blood sugar, stuff like that). He doesn't have any enemies. Everyone gets along with him. He likes to play cards and games with me and he loves to watch movies with me. We can talk about anything and everything and he challenges me to think on a deeper level. He teaches me about politics and stuff he knows from growing up on a farm. He always wants to grow as a person, be a better man, and wants to love God more and be a good friend. He is pretty awesome.
